Really Great Reading’s Grouping Matrix is an easy way to use data from the Diagnostic Decoding Surveys to group students for decoding instruction. The Grouping Matrix is a password-protected, Web-based program that groups students in the middle of 1st grade and beyond according to the degree of their decoding abilities. Direct online data entry and reporting allows you to immediately receive reports with grouping information and instructional recommendations.
The Grouping Matrix groups students in the middle of 1st grade through 12th grades using scores from a one-minute oral reading fluency measure and from the Diagnostic Decoding Surveys.
Use of the Grouping Matrix is currently free during beta testing.
